Reworking an old idea
When I was in college, I got a freelance job doing some illustrations for a frozen food company. The characters were black and white and thinking about them was fun. The idea of bringing food to life was funny; one was even a one-legged chicken for frozen drumsticks. I was digging around in some old portfolios and found them. At some point, I'll rework them, but for now, I just did a quick color treatment of Captain King Prawn. In the end the client never paid me, but I learned alot. For me, it is worthwhile to dig around in old work to find new ideas.
